The logo is probably the most exposed symbol, the most present symbol of a business.
Saying things this way, of course, I added a lot of weight to this graphic symbol.
But let's start with the beginning.
What is a logo?
The logo is ultimately a digitally created graphic representation. Of course, although a logo mockup can be created, drawn, on paper, in the end it will need to be transcribed in digital format. This process is needed because any mass reproduction of it for advertising purposes requires digital processing.
The logo is a graphic representation, but many times they try to incorporate the product or service into the logo. For example, for a small construction company, a house or houses are incorporated into the design. For a large construction company, large buildings, i.e. skyscrapers, office buildings, etc., are incorporated into the logo. Things should not be like this because your logo will no longer be unique, but common, it will be harder to recognize and identify in the market. The logo should ideally be a subtle representation of the company's product or service. If this is not possible because logos have been made for over 100 years, so it is difficult to come up with something totally new and innovative, you can choose an abstract symbol, or one unrelated to the product or service. The best example of this is the logo of Adidas and Nike. For Adidas it is the 3 stripes that symbolize a sports shoe, and for Nike, the wing of the goddess of Ancient Greece, Nike.
A major role in the uniqueness of a logo is the choice of brand name. The more unique it is in the market, the easier it is to create a unique logo, because most of the time, 99.9% of the time, the name is found in the logo.
Depending on the reputation and size of the company for which a logo is being created, it is sketched on paper to check and measure proportionality. But probably for the creation of these logos we are talking about a requested amount, with several figures. In general, logos are created directly in digital format, by most designers. Adjustments of color, proportion, text, etc., are made much easier in digital format.
Although it has a very high impact in recalling and identifying a product, service, therefore a very high impact in sales, the logo is not omnipotent. The logo on its own is not very powerful. I say this to understand that the design and concept of a logo must be integrated into the overall brand vision. Of course, if you are a company at the beginning of the road, without a very large budget for the logo, you can choose a starting version, that is, without all of the above. However, you will have to consider a future rebranding of the product, service, which involves changing the brand name and/or logo. Instead, this moment cannot be delayed too much, but it should take place before the brand becomes known and recognized, so when a possible change of order could lead to a decrease in sales, not covered by new sales. At this point a fairly large budget would be required to inform customers about this change.
That's why it's good to think from the very beginning what you want to do with the new business and, in conclusion, how much you want to invest at the beginning and how much later. If you calculate everything from the beginning and take certain decisions, things can go either way, either with a limited initial investment or with a sufficient investment that will lead to the establishment of a brand from the very beginning.
So, do you want us to create a logo for you whose price is 100 €? For this amount you will benefit from a professional design, but without our contribution in the area of branding, unique positioning, etc. Basically it's about your idea and its graphic execution, from our side.
